In the Badak Tin Shares ease the jury asked whether they could find* one accused guilty on a certain charge, apart from conspiracy. The foreman handed a document to the Judge, who. after perusal, said : *' You can say that.” 'Hie foreman then announced that the jury unanimously agreed that the three accused was not guilty, hut they believed that Orton was individually guilty of misrepresentation

This is a correction of a previous message which stated that the jury were of the opinion that the accused, though not guilty of conspiracy, were guilty of misrepresentation.
