WHAT OF MINISTERS’ PLEDGE? By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 22, 11.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 22. Though eleven* members of the Cabinet signed the prohibition pledge before the elections, it is believed that the question will not be touched till the end of next year as money is too dear for compensation purposes. The Labour Conference to be held in June will discuss motions in favour of prohibition.
