Sir George Fuller informed a deputation from South-west Riverina that the Government intended connecting Riverina bv rail with Melbourne, so that settlers could get their produce to the nearest market. Negotiations would be opened without delay. He saw no reason why the line should not bo constructed in accordance with t Ik-* Victorian, gauge.
