THE WELLINGTON SEATS. (Pkr Pme*3 Association.) WELLINGTON, May 16. Nominations of Labour candidates to contest the Wellington seats will not close until the end of June, when the Labour Representation Committee will hold a selection ballot. Up to the present the following have been nominated as candidates for the seats mentioned :—• Wellington East—Mr A. L. Montcith (secretary of the TVamwaymen’s Union). Wellington South—Mr H. Dyson, (secretary of the Storemen’s Union). Mr R. M’Keen (secretary of the Grocers’ Union), Mr J. M’KLenzie (assistant sec retar v of the Hotel and R-cstaurant Workers’ Union). Wellington Suburbs—Mr A. W. Croskery (secretarj' of the Amalgamated Shop Assistants’ Society). Wellington North—Mr C. H. Chapman (secretary of the Typographical Union), and Mr Snow. Wellington Central—Mr P. Fraser. It is understood that Mr H. E. Combs (secretary of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association) will be nominated in the Labour interest for Wellington North, and that Mr M. J. Mack (secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants and president of the Alliance of Labour) may be nominated for Wellington East. Mr C. H. Pritchard will agaid contest the Hutt seat for Labour-
