ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC. Wilfred Moore, who had been operated on in the Christchurch Hospital, died under an anaesthetic yesterday. An inquest will ho conducted by Mr H. Y. Widdowson, District Coroner. INJURED BY EXPLOSION. (Per Press Association.) TV AIM ATE, April 22. A young man, Harry Kaan, driver of a baker’s delivery van, was injured by an explosion of petrol which occurred when he struck a match. Kaan drove three miles to town, and was received at the hospital m a state of collapse. Moore was a returned soldier. He wae horn in tho Isle of Man and had been in New Zealand eleven years. His father lives in Phillip’s Road, St Albans.
