The Prince of Wales has concluded the formal part of his visit with a dinner to the Foreign Minister. Foliowing on a visit to the i>eaee exposition and a reception by 30,000 Tokio students last night lie attended a magnificent reception at the Imperial Theatre with th© Regent, who attended a public theatrical performance in Japan for the first time. Seven Imperial Princes and Princesses were in tlie audience, an unprecedented happening. From this and other happenings it is certain tr«. visit of the Prince will leave its imprint on Japanese Court life as it nas already broken down many heretofore age-long barriers between the Imperial family and the people. NUMEROUS FUNCTIONS. The Prince leaves on April 19 foi Nikko. On returning he unveils a memorial gate at the Yokohama foreign cemetery. Thence he goes to the oti.t* main cities in Japan. He is somewhat fagged by the rapid succession of functions, scarcely permitting time to change clothes or sleep, but he is evincing a keen interest in his tour and is in good health.
