HADFIELD AND PADDON MATCHED. (Per Press Association.) V WANGANUI, January 25. The supporters of Hadfield lodged a cheque for £IOO at the " Herald ” office this morning to cover a similar amount lodged by Mr G. Seifert at the office of the ‘ Waikato Times.” binding a race with Paddon to be rowed on the Wanganui River in the vicinity of the Easter holiAdvice has been received that Lloyd is looking, after Paddon’s interests, and will probably accompany him to Wanganui.
