Miss Margaret Bilton has been appointed sister in charge of the Coronation Hospital. The fruit growers and the retailers having failed to agree as to the charges on fruit cases, arrangements are being made by representative growers, in conjunction with the Orchardists’ Co-ope-rative Association, to sell through an auctioneer and charge for cases. The charges will vary from 6d to 4d, which is said to be less than half the cost of a case to the grower.
