KARELIAN REBELLION

The Soviet is mobilising all reliable Communists to fight the Karelians, declaring that unless the rebellion is completely crushed it will be a menace to Petrograd. The Soviet will not tolerate any intervention or mediation. (Received January 25, 1.40 p.m.) HELSINGFORS, January 24. The Karelians have recaptured Kilmasjaervi, and they defeated the Bolsheviks on both the northern and southern fronts with great losses.
