SALVATION ARMY RAISES £50,090. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 15. The Salvation Army’s Self-Denial appeal has raised close on £-50,000. as against £57,000 last year. The result is considered most satisfactory under the circumstances. The Wellington division contributed £OllB, including Blenheim £llOO, Nelson £IO7O, and Wellington City £2llO. Auckland gave £12,638, Christchurch £7BOO, Dunedin £BBIB. The Central North Division quota was £13.938, including Wanganui £1238, New Plymouth £lOOl, Gisborne £IB2B, and Masterton £lOlB.
