Mr Arthur Lilly, A.R.0.0., received a cablegram yesterday stating that his younger brother, Air Leslie G. Lilly, who left New Zealand nine years ago and served throughout the war, is shortly returning to Christchurch. Air Leslie Lilly vent to London for business experience, and was appointed travelling representative in the United States and Canada for the London firm of Messrs Lister and Smith. He enlisted &t tho outbreak of war, and roe© to the rank of captain and adjutant. Early in the present year he took a position in toe British Imperial Oil Company at Singapore. A couple cf months ago, however, his health broke down after an attack of fever, and he is returning to his native land to recuperate and eventually settle. While in England he married the only daughter of th© late Alderman Harrop, exLord. Mayor of Manchester, and she. with their little boy, will follow her husband to Now Zealand.
