FLIGHT FROM AUCKLAND.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 1The DH9 left Trentham at 9.46 this morning on a non-stop flight to Christchurch. D.H.9 AT CHRISTCHURCH. The D.H.9 machine which was flown recently from Timaru to Auckland passed through Christchurch to-dav on the return trip to Timaru. Piloted by Mr J. C. Mercer the machine left Auckland at 3.10 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived at H Enver a at 5.55 p.m. On Sunday Hawera was left at 7.55 a.m. and Trentham was reached at 9.5 a.m. At Trentham the machine waited for better weather, and left at 9.45 a.m. to-day, being over Wellington at 10 a.m. Christchurch was reached in a non-stop flight at 1 p.m. and a landing was made on the Canterbury Aviation Company’s aerodrome at Soekburn. The machine was timed to leave tor Timaru at 4 p.m.
