THE THIRD OLYMPIA.
The indications point to this year’s Olympia Motor Carnival in Christchurch being a greater attraction than ever. More cars will be shown and there will be a considerable number of motor trucks and tractors, motor cycles and accessories. The exhibitors comprise several new ones in addition to all the old ones, in fact the space was applied for three times over, applications coming from as far afield as Australia. The decoration scheme this year is promised to be exceptionally good. Refreshments will bo obtainable and special music will be supplied by Willyams’ Orchestra of ten nrosicians, two special nights being devoted to jazz music. The carnival, which will be held in the King Edward Barracks, will be officially opened by the Mayor on Saturday night, November 5, at 8 o’clock, though the doors will be opened at 6 p.m. and will continue until 10 p.m. Saturday, November 12, being open 1 @vory week day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
