LATE MR C. A. M’LEAN.
THE FUNERAL. The remains of the late Mr G. A. M’Leau were laid in their last restingplace in the Baloairn cemetery on Saturday afternoon with every mark of respect. There was a very large concourse of people at the funeral, all the public bodies with which Mr M'Lean had been connected being represented and most of tho families in tho district w here ho had spent his useful life. The Oddfellows’ Society, by which he was held in very high esteem and affection, was strongly represented by past and present District officers and members of different lodges, four of tbe brethren of his owu lodge, tho Loral Leitlifield, acting as bearers. The Rev AY. J. Youngson, Presbyterian minister of the district, conducted the burial service, and the Oddfellows’ funeral ritual was rend by P.D.G.AT. Brother C. AY. Bell. Wreaths were sent by the Leith field and Amberlov Oddfellows* Lodges, Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Air G. D. Greenwood, the Misses Coleman and Mr F. P. Coleman, C. Stnee.
