* TOTE PERMITS DIFFICULTY, (Special to the “Star”). AVELLINGTON, October 12Members of Parliament met to-day again to discuss the Gaming Commission’s recommendations. Only a fair number were present. It was decided to wait on Air Alassey to discuss the position respecting the eliminated clubs and trotting meeting permits particularly. The meeting did not arrive at fore the Premier. Some of the members state* privately that they are in a quandary owing to the fact that they represent districts that stand both to i lose and vo gain.
