A BIG DEFICIT.

Sir James Mitchell (Premier), in delivering the Budget, explained that the deficit reached £686,726, tho expenditure being £7,476,000. The revenue for the ensuing year was estimated at £7,050,000 and the expenditure £7,622,000.
