5 Tolegruph— Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received September 28, 10.29 a.m.) LONDON, September 27. The South African loan has been oversubscribed. The South African loan of five millions. bearing interest at 6, per cent, issued at ninety-six, was underwritten in London recently. It is understood in London that the fact that South \ tricar is issuing a loan does not imply the withdrawal of the embargo on the issue of trustee stocks, but ail exception is made in favour of South Africa, which has £7,000,000 worth of Treasury bills maturing shortly.
