INFLUENZA.

POSITION IN CHRISTCHURCH. “I have found no indications of another influenza epidemic yet, and from my conversations with members of the medical profession, it appears that there is less influenza about at the present time than there was this time last year,” said Dr Telford, District Health Officer, yesterday. He added that only one case of pneumonic influenza had been reported this week and only two ease# of pneumonia. This was not unusual for this time of the year and he saw no reason for the public to be alarmed over the matter.
