SCENIC RESERVES.
NEW BOARD APPOINTED. By a “Gazette** notice published yesterdaj' the following are appointed members of the local Scenic Reserves Board :—Messrs D. Bates, G. T. Booth. G. Bowron, H. G. Ell, G. Gould, F. E Graham, G. Harper, H. S. E. Hobday, W. Machin, R. Malcolm, A. R. V. Morten, W. F. Parkinson, W. Reece end F. M. Warren ami Dr C. Chilton. The chairman (ex otticio) is the Commissioner of Crown Lands. Mr A. W. Duncan continues to act as honorary pecretary. The new board will meet early next week.
