FANCY DRESS BALL AT LEESTON.

There was a .very largo attendance at the fancy dross bail held in the Lecston Town Hall in connection with the Anglican Church on Tuesday evening. Withers’s Band played for the dance. The prizes were donated by Air B Brown and Air James Lloyd. The first prize for ladies was won by Aliss Kathleen Holley (Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy), and the second prize went to Miss P. Hay (Gipsy Countess). The first prize for gentlemen went to Air G. Aforgan (Admiral Nelson), and the second to Mr Mod rich and Air AVoods (Modern Greek and ( lown), who tied.
