WEDDING.
LA AlB DIMOND. A wedding of much interest took place vo&terday at the East Pelt Methodist Church, when Aliss Alary Edna Dimond, daughter of Air and Airs E. F. Dimond, Christchurch, was married to Air Gordon Herbert Lamb, son of Airs H. Lamb, also of Christchurch. Tho Rev Air Patchett performed the ceremony, and the bride was given away by her father. She wore an exquisitely dainty frock of white cobwebby lace and satin mounted on georgette. A scolloped tunic of the white satin fell over filmy cascades of lace, the tunic ending at the back in a fish train, nnd in the front the waistline was defined with a girdle of georgette flowers fashioned in pastel shades. A beautiful veil was held in place by a circlet of silver leaves nnd tiny pink rosebuds, and she carried a white bouquet. In attendance were Aliss Clare Dimond and Aliss Esino Lamb, sisters of the bride and bridegroom respectively. They wore charming frocks of cameo pink chiffon taffeta, and accordion pleated georgette, the quaint straight bodices of taffeta which finished off at one side* with wide loops falling over three tiered skirts of accordion pleaded georgette. With these frocks were worn Katinka'-shaped hats, with floral crowns and upturned tulle brims, and they carried pale pink bouquets. Major Douglas Lamb was the best man, and Air Norman AT’C-rostio the groomsman.
After the ceremony Air and Airs Dimond entertained a number of friends at their homo in Hereford Street. Airs Dimond wore a smart navy blue chiffon taffeta frock and hat to match. Airs Lamb (the mother of the bridegroom) also wearing a navy blue toilette.
Amongst those present were:—Mr and Mrs Arthur Harrison. 31 r and Mrs 3Y. Seed. J>r and Mrs Seed, Mr and 3Trs Frank Rutherford, Mr and Mrs Ewart Seed, Mr and Mrs A. W. Jamieson. Mrs S. Owen. Mrs Cyril Carey, Mrs Nicholson. Mrs T. W. Reese, Mr and Mrs G. E. Iving, Mr and Miss A . J. Lamb, Alias M:» -is Reese, 31iss Rita Seed and the 31isses Ring. I-ater, Mi* and Mrs Lamb left for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a smart nigger grown costume and a three-cornered bat finished off with pale ihnk and blue roses, which outlined the upturned brim.
