LATE SPORTING.

ADDINGTON NOTES. The work at Addington this morning was not of much interest. The race track was very muddy near the rails, and all the work was done on the outside, where the going, though heavy, was much better. Jack Arrah was given sprinting tasks. He looks in great fettle, and he may race prominently. Miss Patty, who is in good trim, was given half-pace work. Koraki trotted freely while doing strong work in harness. He has built up a lot, and never looked better. Bushchild was given a few short sprints, shaping fairly well. Truganini was given, some useful work, winding up at a sound pace over a mile and a quarter. Oruarangi and General Link were sent a mile and a half in company. They moved freely all through an interesting work-out, and pulled up well. Oruarangi is in fine fettle, and he should get some money before he returns to Auckland. Marvin Junior trotted a mile and a half at a sound pace, going without a mistake. Platinum, who looks rougk, was sent over a couple of half miles, without showing much pace. Hayseed was sprinted, moving freely all through his task. Brea dal bane, a recent arrival from the north, was restricted to easy exercise. Mr R. J. Munro has sold the pacer Daydrift, who is to go to Tasmania.
