Messrs H. Worrall and W. J. Green have been appointed delegates from the Canterbury Trades and Labour Council to attend the conference in regard to better drainage, which is to take place this week. A public lecture on il Success hi Business” will be delivered in the Chamber of Commerce to-morrow night by Mr W. Fraser, Director of the Sheldon Institute. The speaker will treat his subject in its fourfold aspect —production, executive, finance and selling.
