In the House of Commons Commander Hilton Your- stated that the British dobt to America was approximately unpaid totalled approximately £Bl.fiPO 000. The onlv definite arrangement for reduction of the debt at oresent was for repayment, of- £2l tpp oco borrowed for the purchase of silver dollars. under which a further £6,100.000 would be repaid in April and May next.
