ALLEGED THEFT

[Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, July 29. William Little, a- clerk in the employ of the Government Labour Department, was charged at the Magistrate’s Court to-day with the theft of money of a total value of £lls 10s. Ilis duties were to collect factory registration lees. It is alleged that he collected £359 during eleven months, and paid in only £143 11s. Tho accused, who pleaded not guilty, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail of £2OO being granted.
