GOLF AT SHIRLEY.
The annual mixed foursome match for the A. K. G- Rhodes bowl -was played at Shirley on Saturday- There was a large number of players, and some fine scores were handed in. The winners were Miss Klla Helmore and .Mr Lusk, who were 7 up. Mrs Wigrara and Mr Wardrop were 6 up, ar.d Miss ICnright and Mr D. Reese 0 up. A delicious afternoon tea was dispensed ill the club house, and during the tea hour Mr C. J. Ronaldson, captain of the club, presented the bowl to Miss Helmore, congratulating her on her game. Amongst the players and
the visitors wore Mr and Mrs A. E. G. Rhodes.
