AMBULANCE SOCIAL.

The second Ambulance social, held in the tYades’ Hall on Saturday evening under the auspices of the Christchurch Ambulance Division, proved a success iu all directions, and as a result, the equipment fund of the division should be greatly augmented. Dancing was •kept up enthusiastically until a btte hour, and card tables -were provided for those who did not care to dance. Mr J. G. tv a Inh was M.O. During the proceedings Mr Charles Coates gave a conjuring: exhibition, in which he regaled Iho cTompany with the. mystifying adventures of “ Miss "Brown and Mr Green.” For the dancing, Mrs W. Price and Mr 801 l were accompanists, extras being supplied by Mr C. Oakes. Supper was served by ladies of the Selwyn Nursing Division.
