Libraries of educational works for teachers have been established in forty centres in New Zealand owing to the generosity of an anonymous gentleman and to Government subsidy. This was stated by Mr L. M. Isitt, M.P., at yesterday’s meeting of the Canterbury College Board of Governors. Mr Isitt said he thought such a benefaction should he known of by the public. The donor had given £2OO for the establishment of the libraries.
