CARPENTERS’ WAGES.
MEIi RE-ENGAGED AT MORE MONEY. [Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, March 3. As a result of the carpenters leaving work on account of the Builders’ Association fixing 2s 9d as the maximum wage, several city building firms have ceased operations. The union states that almost all the men have been reengaged at 3s or more.
