MAN’S EXPERIENCE AT ARTHUR'S PASS.

Albert Bar wick, a middle-aged man, residing at Woolston, lay for twentytwo hours semi-consoioue, in a riverbed at Arthur’s Pass, consequent on injuries to his head received vrhile returinng from a trip to. a glacier. Barwick was on a holiday at Arthur s Pass, and had gone out alone to see a glacier. Returning, he slipped on. some rocks, at about 1 p.m- on Friday, and was found twenty-two hours later by a man who was also returning from the glacier. He was brought to the Christchurch Hospital last night, and is progressing favourably.
