LABOUR DISPUTE SETTLED.

WAIPAOA FREEZING WORKS. [Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, February 22. The Waipaoa Freezing Works dispute, caused by the go-slow policy of the mutton butchers, which commenced last Thursday, was settled to-day. After a conference between the directors of the company and the men’s representatives an agreement was arrived at, the men being granted an increase of eighteen pence per hundred, making the present scale £2 os 4-d. Work win resume to-morrow morning. The dispute affected over two hundred men.
