WAGES. By Telegraph—Press Aseociation—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 19, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, January 18. It is officially announced that if the decline of ten points in the cost of living is maintained to the end of the month, the railwaymen’s wages will be reduced two shillings weekly, under tho sliding scale, thus saving the railway's £3,600,000 annually.
