CI/INTOX—BRADFORD. The marriage took place at St Mary’s, Manchester -Street, on December 28. <f Miss Kathleen Bradford, of Christchurch, and Air John Henry Clinton, of Darfield. She wore a tulle veil and mob-cap with orange blossoms. Her sister wore mauve crepe de chine and georgette, with fringed trimmings, and the little train-bearer wore a white net frock with touches of pink. The bride, who was given ' away by her father,wore an exceedingly j dainty'frock of the palest pink geor--1 gotto made with ruchings of the material and panels of cream Valenciennes lace, silver true lovers’ knots adorning tho corsage.-j A circlet of orange blossom and silver lace held in place the pretty pink tulle veil, and a bouquet of deep pink carnations and roses toned in effectively with the dress- The bridesmaid. Alass Hislop, wore a dainty cream n*'t frock with side panels of ciel blue charmeuse and scroll adornments of narrow blue ribbon. With tliis was worn a cream tulle and laco hat trimmed with blue ribbon and finished off with blue streamers, and she carried a tea coloured bouquet. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Air John Anderson. The Rev H. 8. Leach was tho officiating minister. After the ceremonv Air and Airs AValter Brown entertained a number of friends at the Beresford. where the tables were most artistically decorated with deep cream and pink loses. Subsequently Air and Airs Anderson left for their wedding trip, the bride travelling in a sapphire blue satin frock and a hat in the same shad.? brightened with touches of gold.

AYTLKTNSON—-AUK ENN A. The wedding took place this week at the Catholic Church. New Brighton, of Miss Margaret M’Kenna, daughter of Airs Al’Kenna. of North New Brighton, and Air P. J. Wilkinson, of AN el lington. The bride, who wore a wreath rind veil and was beautifully gowned in a wi'ite crepe do chine dress, trimmed with Limerick lac*, was given away bv her brother, Mr Bernard John Al’Kenna. The ceremony was performed and Nuptial Alass celebrated, by the 1 ride’s cousin, the Rev Dr Geanev, of specially to Christchurch for the occasion. After tho ceremony forty guests, all relatives of the bride ar.d bridegroom, adjourned to Mr, AUKerna’s home at New Brighton, where the wedding breakfast was served. The Rev Father Gilbert, Rector at St Patrick's College, and tho Rev Father Graham. of’AVellington, also attended the ceremony. The happy couple subsequently left for the North Island, where the honeymoon will be spent, prior to their settling down in their home at the Lower Hutt.
