RAY BLANK CONTEST.

The Ray Blank Surf Contest was decided under ideal conditions at Nortn Beach this afternoon, and for the introduction of the system of balloting for places in tho teams. The judges, Messrs Stokes and Bryant, placed New Brighton first, with 88 points; Taylor’s Mistake, 85i points, second : and North Beach, 7t>! points, third. The winning team was constituted as follows:—No. 1 C. A. Cooper. No. 2 D. F. Coulter, No. 3 D. J. M’Tlarg, No. 4 H. S. Feast, No. o C. F. Crosbie, No. « F. L. Coliins, No. 7 A. E. Summerfield. The instructor responsible for the training of the team was C". A. Cooper.
