NURSES’ CHRISTMAS PARTY

Aits* Muir, the lady_ superintendent of the Hospital, entertained the nursing staff last evening 1n the Chalmers •Ward. The party Was a fancy dress affair, ami some of the costumes were exceedingly original, and the word uncommonly decorated with, black oats for good luck, and blue birds for happiness. 'There were two prizes awarded, one to Nurse Mill (0, Plum Pudding), lor the most original costume, (ho other to Nurse Milner (a- Powder Puff), tor the prettiest costume. The evening passed away very pleasantly, with dancing and music, Miss Prins being at the piano. During the evening it was announced that advice had been received .to the effect that all tho nurses who sat for the recent State examinations had been successful. The names were: —Nurses Bud man.
