Mr Charles G. Colo arrived in Christchurch from 'Wellington fliis monlSng. A motion of sympathy with the ti. Lawry; in the decease of hi.s wife, was carried at the meeting of the Christchurch Prohibition League last evening. Mr R. Ellison, the London manager of the National Dairy association, is at present in Christchurch. He will leave for London, via Sydney, on September 26.
