(Special to “Star.”) AA ELLINGTON, January 19, hen his Honor Air Justice Stringer opened the Railway Wages Inquiry, Air Hampton, representing the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, a.skcr! if the I ward intended opening tlio proceedings to tlie Dress.
His .Honor replied that the order or reference gave no alternative to a private inquiry.
.1 hereupon Air Hampton stated that he was instructed hy his executive in withdraw.
His Honor indicated (hat ho would report the position to the Alini-Tm of Knihvavs.
