A Convention, at which the States would be represented, would be held next year to consider a, revision of the constitution. His statement that the "socalled Labour people" opposed his proposals led to continued interruptions. Mr Hughes saijl that he asked the people of Australia to give him power to deal with profiteering and give a man a fair wage. If they woidd not do so they could got someone else to lead tllem. - - i
