SETTLED.
CLAIMS AGAINST TRAMWAY BOARD. Claims by Frank Needham, Stella Olive Needham and Clara Olivo Needham against the Christchurch Tramway Board for damages in respect of the Heathcoto tramway accident, have been settled. Air Cunningham was to have appeared on behalf of. the plaintiffs, whose cases were to have been heard at tho current civil sittings of tho Supreme Court. F. Needham was to have claimed £238 6s Id damages, S. 0. Needham £2OOO damages, and C. O. Needham £750 damages. Details of the settlement arc not at present available.
