In the House of Representatives last evening Sir Janies Allen stated that tho time for receiving subscriptions to the Victory Loan had been extended for a. fortnight. • KAIAPOI CONTRIBUTIONS. Subscriptions at Kaiapoi totalled £SOOO (approximately) up to yesterday afternoon. Of this amount £3200 was subscribed during the last two days. INVESTMENTS IN DUNEDIN. [Per Prms Association ) DUNEDIN, September 25. A good number of investors, some of who ms deposited fairly large sums, subscribed towards the Victory Loan to-day, but the general opinion in banking circles is that the subscription is not equal to the amount invested in previous loans.
