SIGNS OF RENEWED STRIKE. SYDNEY, September 23. 'The Seamen’s Union has called a stopwork meeting for Thursday to discuss the result of the recent conference- It appears that trouble-is brewing owing to some owners’ refusal to sign the new agreement.
WALSH’S RELEASE DEMANDED. MELBOURNE, September 23. The Sen men ’s Union has resolved that unless Mr T. Walsh, their secretary, is released on Wednesday morning a slop-work meeting will be held. The union recommends brandies in other States to adopt a similar course-
