INVESTITURE.
CITIZENS RECEIVE WAR HONOURS. He did a gallant act near Preux, in I'ranco, on October 30, 1918 The Position was subjected to machine'gifti fire. Dunng the night he went enn to the tern. He reached within a few yards of the enemy post, but his patrol was forced to retire by fire from the ma-crune-gun, there and other mochineguns.
