Mr X. B. M"Callu 111, president of tlie Returned Soldiers’ Association, has asked the Mayor that the, association should be given a whole day for entertaining officers and men of H.M.S. New Zealand. In the morning, it is proposed to lay the foundation stone of the Returned Soldiers' Club and to hold a military parade in the afternoon. Rugby and Soccer football matches between returned soldiers and men from the vessel on the Show Grounds, and in the evening a smoke concert held in conjunction' with the citizens.
