A conference of the extremist section of the Labour Party carried a resolution recommending the formation of a newparty, having for its object the establishment of a co-operative commonwealth, in which the organised workers would own and control the entire means of -wealth and production, such production to he for use and not for profit- It was also decided not to run candidates at the next election, being for the present purely a propaganda party.
