FOUND HANGING.

TRAGEDY AT MERIVALE.

■lohn Gibson. aged between fifty a nd smty years, was found dead, hanging in a Toft over a stable at the residence of Mr B. Ballin, “ Rotomah,” 33, Naseby Street, Merivale, at 7 o’clock this morning. Air Otto Ballin discovered the body. The deceased had been working as a gardener at Air B. Balliu’s residence for about four years, and was last seen there at 11 a.m. on Sunday, When ho did not mate his usual appearance this morning a search was made. The door of the room which he usually used was found locked, and he was subsequently found hanging by a rope in the loft. Deceased’s widow lives at 84, Fisher Street, Sydenham. She applied in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday for maintenance and separation orders against her husband, and the orders were granted. An inquest will he held.
