THE MELBOURNE FLOODS.
Cabled advice received to-day by tbe general manager for New Zealand of the Barnet Glass Rubber Co. (Mr A. Goodhart) states that the damage done by fire and floods affect the mechanical works only. Tho damage is confined to premises on three-quarters of an acre, the other seven acres of tho company’s works being unaffected either by floV or The company’s business will be carried on as usual. \ 1072
