RETURNING SOLDIERS.

—"■ ■ ■■ Word lias been received that Private Edward H- El wood, son of Airs E. W. EhvoocJ and the Into Edward (Ted) Elwood, of 149 ; Salisbury Street, is returning borne by the Hororata. Private Elwood left with the Seventeenth Reinforcements- He was twice wounded and gassed. Advice has been received by Mrs B. Wilson. Sneyd Street, Kaiapoi' that her son. Rifleman A. Wilson, who left New Zealand with the Seventh Reinforcements, is returning to the Dominion by the Hororata. Mr F. G. Gurnsey, Poynder Avenue, Fendnlion, has received notice that his two sons, Corporal F. W. and Sapper A. Q. Gurnsey, are to arrive in Wellington by the Athenic on or about March 20. Mrs Ernest Bosomworth, of 16, Holly Road, St Albans, has received advice that her son, Second-Lieutenant Clifford S. Ogden, who left New Zealand with the Main Body, is returning by the Hororata about March 13. Air H. M.’Millan, of Saltwater Creek, has received word that his 'son, Sergeant G. B. M’Millan (M.M.) is returning by the Hororata. Advice has been received by Mrs A. M’t.ormick, Lyttelton, that her son, Gunner G. A. M. M’Connick, who left with the Tenth Reinforcements, is due to arrive back in Wellington on March 20. Advico has been received by Airs E. Lodge, of North Beach, New Brighton, that her son. Sergeant Gordon (Jack) Lodge is returning to New Zealand on ; the Hororata. He served for four years on Gallipoli and in France. Sergeant Lodge is one of four brothers who enlisted with the earliest reinforcements. Three have now returned. Airs C. -I. Seahourn, of King Street, Sydenham, has received information that her son, Rifleman A. A. Seahourn, L returning to New Zealand shortly. Rifleman Seahourn, who previous to enlisting was in the Railway Department's service at Christchurch, left in August, 1914, with the Samoan Expeditionary Force. He returned in April, 191-5, and left New Zealand with the 2nd Battalion of the Rifle Brigade, and although he was continuously in the Tiring lino ho escaped without wounds or sickness. Mr M. Phillips, Kaiapoi. has been advised that his second son, .Tames, who loft with the Ninth Reinforcements, is returning by the Hororata. Private Phillips was a railway fireman when he joined the Expeditionary Force. Mrs W. .T, Nicholls, 420, Montreal Street, has been advised that her husband will return by the Athenic, Airs AL Sullivan, of 110, Parkcs Street, Woolston, has received advice that her son, Sergeant W. D. Sullivan, will return by the Hororata. Sere-cant Sullivan loft with the Fourth 1 Reinforcements.
