It will lio remembered that smno time ago an explosion of sulphuric acid occurred on thi’ Mouowai at Auckland, and that as a result several men were rather severely injured. A rlaim for £B3OO and costs is being made against th° shippers of the acid by the injured watersiders, and the ease will he heard in Melbourne shortly. The claimants will ho represented by Mr P. J. O’Regan, of 'Wellington, and Mr Charles 'Weaver; president of the Auckland "Waterside Workers’ Union, will also go to Wellington.
