t I Owing to the exigencies of tho war, j the Commissioner of Police is filling ( future vacancies iu the Police Force from men in the First Division who have been classed as medically unlit ! for military service and from members of the Second Division of the reserve. Tho men selected will be installed a?-> temporary constables, to be employed during tho war period only.
