The Education Department has forwarded to the North Canterbury Education Board a copy suggestions made by the Ihraedin branch* 'of the British Medical Association as to precautions that should be taken in schools. The chairman (Mr 0. H. Opie), at the boards, meeting to-day. said' that the board -was ahead of, the Dunedin schools as far as the use of drinking utensils was concerned. The board decided not to take any stops until the Department's regulations were available. . Dr Ohesson stated to-day that no fresh cases of, infantile paralysis had been notified.
